Bermagui Library — Bega Valley Shire Library

The local library has a children’s area, Creative Space, accessible entrance and amenities, and a baby-change area. During school terms, Rhymetime is held on Thursdays for children aged 0–2, while Friday Storytime is designed for ages 3–5. School-holiday activities are also offered. Bermagui Cobargo Football Club

Children and teenagers aged 5–17 can join this seasonal football program at Dickinson Oval in Bermagui. Joeys caters for ages 5–8 and Juniors for ages 9–17, combining skills development with weekly games in a youth competition the club describes as non-competitive. Players need to register, bring shin pads and suitable shoes, and agree to the game rules.

Bermagui Country Club — Junior Golf

Junior classes and lessons introduce children to golf fundamentals, etiquette and sportsmanship. Instruction is tailored to different ages and skill levels, making it suitable for both new and developing players. Contact the Pro Shop on 02 6493 4657 to ask about current lesson arrangements.

Child and Family Health Services — NSW Health

NSW Health lists a child and family health service at 24 Bunga Street, Bermagui. Free assistance for NSW families with children aged 0–5 includes health and development checks, parenting information and support, and referrals to other health professionals when needed. No referral is required. Phone 1800 999 880.

Sapphire Neighbourhood Services

This regional service provides free family support across the Bega Valley for children and young people under 18, as well as parents, step-parents, grandparents, relatives and other carers. Families can access parenting groups, casework, advocacy, referrals and help with child development, relationships, Centrelink or the NDIS.
